Great fun

The only way I can open it is from the App Store. Have been playing this game for more than 10 years. When it wouldn’t work I tried other pinochle app - no comparison. Please fix!

Challenging and fun

I’m in agreement with all the reviews. Recently when attempting to enter the game, I get bumped off. Uninstall, reinstall, same problem. Right now it’s working on iPhone but not iPad. Had the issue with 2 J of diamond being sent back when 300 pinochle could be made. Same issue with partner throwing aces away. This is on difficult setting. Is the difficulty because the partner is daft?

Since the “upgrade”. It won’t let me go ad free. Also when I go into the app each time it blinks and closes several times. Then stayed open but tells me to upgrade to ad free. But the upgrade won’t work….. I love this game been playing for YEARS but this is getting irritating.😥😥

This has been my favorite card game for some time now. I play everyday. But all of a sudden it will not load when I tap on it on my iPad.

I thoroughly enjoy the app when it opens but crashes on opening often.

Despite your partner too often ends up playing like a beginner, this used to be a good game. I have had this app for quite some time. Now, it doesn’t even follow the traditional rules, such as requirements of using trump when you have it and when you’re out of whatever suit is played, or to lay a card to beat the highest card laid down. In addition, they seem to have added commentary to point out that your last game didn’t go so well. A shame.

The game works great on my iPad but often crashes and will not restart on my iPhone. I love this game. It is the best pinochle game by far but I have to give it one star because there is no product support. It needs a bug fixed.

Half of the time this app won’t load. I’m not sure why I keep deleting and reinstalling the app only to have the same problem

Who the heck programed this game, had to be moron. No professional partner pinochle player would ever make such dumb moves that sets us. It’s better to hold back on your non-trump aces, instead of discarding them on my trick. I gave you the aces so i could get pass the other idiot team players after i played my aces. Long comment short, the idea of the game is to play to win not loose. You need to hire old school pinochle card players for advice, on how to program the game. It’s important to play for the last trick. Instead of continuing to lead trump after you take everyone else’s trump. By leading all the trump you put the ones were playing against in control of the game. I paid for the game but it doesn’t play any better than free.

I used to have this in my iPhone a couple of years ago and loved it, but it won’t load on my new iPhone.

Played a ton of games in the past, but the developers have done nothing to keep it working and up to date. Assuming it does not crash when you try to open it, you will likely be limited to solo play. Apple please pull this app from the app store and make room for someone to put out superior pinochle game.

This app works half the time. When it does, it’s the only gameplay that I can stand for pinochle.

I simply just love this game

Far too many runs and double pinocles. Doesn’t happen in real play. Opposing team almost always get a run and 4 aces when they get the bid. Also not enough settings. Cannot set number of cards to pass , auto play when final tricks are sure.

I have download it and pay the dollar 99 for the Pinochle HD and every time I go to open it it flashes to the board and then goes straight to my home screen, I have emailed them and I have gotten no reply yet. My girlfriend is also having the same problem, so we are not enjoying the game right now.

Every time I try opening the app it crashes, no updates I even sprung for the $1.99 and it doesn’t work either!

I paid for this game because I wanted to learn two handed pinochle, which I thought this would do from the description. Misleading. A rip off

Consistently the game will not load …. — despite rebooting my device — despite deleting/reloading the app — despite my reaching out for tech support, which seems nonexistent

Game is fun, would like to know why this game stopped adding up my score and how to fix it . I have o score of 139950 it stopped adding my score and started a new score where I am at 160

Since updating to IOS 16.2 app just crashes. This is true of lite version and the HD version. Hope it gets updated. I’ve loved this app for years.

I played this game for a few years on my iPhone 8. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 14 Pro Max and am unable to open the app. Why am I having a problem?

I had a lot of fun playing this game, but it started crashing on startup about a year ago and now it will not even open at all. I tried to delete it and reinstall without any success.

The game will not open most of the time! Speed up the game to auto play when you only hold the trump. Or hold all remaining tricks.

I use on my iphone13 pro max and it stopped working of you close it out, won’t load. I can’t play it anymore after last update from Apple for my phone. Still working on my iPad.

AI does not have the smarts of a seasoned human player, but does alright. Still makes for a fun game.

App has become very “crashy”. It won’t open when you click on it. Seems to be happening with increasing frequency and for longer periods of time.

We both love this game and play it every day. Hope to see a new update soon became since the new Apple iOS the game is very difficult to open if you are able you get it open you have to leave open. Hoping you can fix the problem with your own update

The game allows a player not to play trump when in their respective hand. That’s against the rules.

I like this game but it only works 2 out of 20 tries. Too many bugs and no updates. Don’t waste your time or money here you’ll be sorry you did.

I’ve never played pinochle where you didnt have to play trump when you don’t have the suit that is lead. Is this new??

Very good app. Multiple skill levels and easy app to navigate. I would definitely recommend.

I like the game, but there are a couple of annoying things: 1) With the new iOS release, the game does not always launch when selected. 2) Why does the partner always give away their aces on the first book in the suit? No players does that. I could understand that strategy if it was the only card in the suit, but the partner plays their aces even if the have multiple cards left in the suit. 3) After playing a card, the cards to play are presented, then they shift. If I am in the process is selecting a card and it shifts, it causes selection of an incorrect card. Either implement an UNDO or stop the shift.

I like to win and I can, easily!!

It WAS a great game until I updated to iOS 15 now it won't run

This spring I loved using my iPads to play peer-to-peer with a friend. It won’t work anymore. Any suggestions?

I’ve played pinnacle for years. I’ve never had a partner that when you give your partner a marriage or a pinochle that she sends 1/2 of the pair back to you, Then there is no score. Or a partner who plays her ace on your lead ace. Then can’t catch trick with her ten that she kept. The ace ten and king are all worth 10 points so play king or ten and save your ace to catch a trick!

This is pinnacle but the developers are so stupid that they don’t count single pinnacles. If you pass 3 legs of pinnacle, they don’t melt the single pinnacle. When you pass a pinnacle they will return either the queen of spades or the jack of diamonds rather than melt it. I have written them but they do nothing. Also when say you have a double ace of spades and the queen you will loose so you pass one ace so they could take the queen, they play the ace on your ace. Learned along time ago you can’t cure stupids. When you pass the two jacks of diamonds which make 300 pinnacle and the game passes them back in lieu of melting two marriages which looses the game and they do it every time this game has a real problem and they never fix any of the problems They even pass back the jacks or queens when they do have 300 pinnacle

Don’t pas cards. Find it fun and fair

This would be a good game if the Al had any idea how to play. I agree with Marc Jo, who ever designed this has no idea how to play the game. Not much fun when your partner holds onto the cards he should pass, and passes when he lakes one card for 1000 Aces or 1500 trump. But it's about as good the other pinochlegames available. Update #1–I would actually like to give a higher rating but don’t see how I can. I have read many reviews other players have left and it appears to me that the developers do not read them because the dimwit partner never improves his tactics. For example, he will keep bidding till he gets the bid when he has as little as 150 or so points and has absolutely no chance of making the bid unless I just happen to have been dealt 300 pinochle or something like that. Or, he might just pass when he is lacking only one card to get fifteen hundred trump. Also he passes back like I could not possibly use a jack. The developer must play a version where runs only requires, Ace, Ten, King, Queen. But what’s the use of complaining the Developers are not interested in correcting these issues anyway. It might be better to just quit playing this game. 01/03/21, just finished my first game for awhile and see no improvements have been made. I bid in hearts needing only jacks, and got none, so played aces of trump, "hearts" and as I expected he played a jack of hearts on both of my first two leads. I SURE WISH YOU WOULD CORRECT THIS ISSUE.

This game is great if you don’t mind being pared with an AI that is totally stupid, making dumb mistakes like not keeping pinnacle cards, or leading with a 10 instead of a Queen to pull out competitors high cards.

A lot of games say free but then they have in app purchases… They don’t make you watch a bunch of ads… And it’s a fun game of pinochle🎉🎉

No players online. Upgrade is NO better than the free game. Not worth upgrading.

Love the game!!! Wish it had a “surrender” option for when one team can’t win. Or a “I got the rest” when a player has all trumps left and no one else has any. I’m impatient and don’t want to have to sit through playing it all out. But love the game.

Please teach the app that if I have the bid and I bid either hearts or clubs to NOT pass me the jack of diamonds or queen of spades. If I have them I will pass them to you. PASS aces!!!!! Stop passing crap and hoarding aces.

Does the person who made this app know what a “pinochle” is? It’s the queen of spades and jack of diamonds. So when my “partner” calls spades trump and there’s a possibility they’ll have the queen, I send them the jack of diamonds to make a “pinochle”. They send the jack back when they have the queen. That’s 4 points and games are lost that shouldn’t be if there were 4 more meld. I want a new partner or teach my current partner to play better. I WANT A NEW COMPUTER PARTNER!!!!!!!!
